Raw Material Price Increase
2005 was an unprecedented year with regards to raw material price increases...
Most of our materials such as our foams, rubbers and adhesives are made from some percentage of petroleum derivatives. With all the natural disasters such as hurricane Katrina, the tight supply of petroleum by-products became that much tighter, driving up the cost of our raw materials, some by as much as 46% over 2004 pricing....
